Milrose Mercado is a highly accomplished executive with more than 20 years of comprehensive supply chain experience. As Vice President of Management Services, she is responsible for all outsourced services under Nexera’s Workforce Solutions.
Before joining Nexera, Milrose held the position of Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Legacy Health in Portland, Oregon. Prior to that, she served as Administrative Director of Supply Chain for Virginia Mason Hospital and Medical Center.
Milrose has been consistently lauded for her success in leading large-scale supply chain transformation efforts, including development of end-to-end system level infrastructure, turn around operations, significant financial improvement (expense reduction, cost containment), and driving clinical supply chain integration. A recognized thought leader, she has spoken at numerous industry conferences and in webinar events. In 2016, she was named one of the Becker’s Hospital Review Rising Stars: Top 50 Healthcare Leaders. Most recently, Milrose led an end-to-end Supply Chain transformation at Hartford Healthcare – Hartford was recently named Elite 11 “Supply Chain Operations Worth Watching” chosen by Healthcare Purchasing News
Milrose earned her Bachelor of Arts in History & Comparative Ethnic Studies and a Project Management Certificate from the University of Washington and her Master of Public Administration from Seattle University.
