Dean Sheffield, Vice President Management Services, provides oversight and support for multiple supply chain engagements. In his role, he is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and solutions in addition to realizing cost reduction goals through implementation of best practices, process efficiencies and operations management.
Sheffield brings to the table more than 30 years of progressive experience in healthcare support services with a specialty in supply chain operations and procurement. He has worked in various acute care provider settings from local community hospitals to major academic medical centers. Sheffield’s team delivers value and satisfaction to patients, physicians and staff through their ability to provide sound, sustainable recommendations, as well as high-quality products and services to the organization. He works collaboratively to develop methods that attain maximum value and savings for medical supplies and physician preference items.
Sheffield is a hands-on, highly-visible leader and team builder whose ability to drive success stems from his open and ongoing communication with all levels of staff in addition to his keen propensity for achieving results.
